Warp Stabilizer

I did a quick video and post over at www.MaineFilmmaking.com that shows how effective the Warp Stabilizer effect is in AE CS5.5

It features footage I shot from a helicopter of Portland harbor this past fall. I shot it with a Cannon 5D Mark2 and a 17-40mm lens. Overall I was very happy with my camera and lens decision. The helicopter was able to fly low enough to the ground for the an effective use of the almost fisheye full frame 17mm lens.

One issue I did have with the footage was a constant vibration from the operation of the helicopter. The vibration is not something that can be easily stabilized by hand. However the black box design of the Warp Stabilizer was able to easily correct this vibration along with any rolling shutter issues with the footage.

Head over to www.MaineFilmmaking.com to see the example video.
